I built PartyTube – Watch YouTube Together in Real-Time (currently in the building phase)

I've been working on a Chrome extension called PartyTube that lets you watch YouTube with friends who aren't in the same room. The host shares a simple 6-digit code, and no one can join without the host approving them first — a notification pops up so they can Accept or Reject. Once approved, guests see the host's screen streaming live in a new tab, synced in real-time using WebRTC (peer-to-peer, nothing gets routed through a server). Still in the building/testing phase right now, but the core flow is working. Would love feedback if anyone wants to try it out.

My little corner of the world 🖥️

Nothing fancy just a desk, a keyboard that's louder than it should be, and enough RGB to remind me I still have a personality outside of terminal windows. Most of what I build starts right here. Sometimes it's clean code, sometimes it's 3 hours of staring at one error before realizing it was a typo. Where do you get your best work done?
Same problem. Different clock. That's the shift AI brings. Six hours in, and the human side is still stuck — tense shoulders, a cluttered desk, a cold cup of coffee, and a problem that refuses to budge. Not from lack of skill. Just from the limits of one tired mind working alone. Eight seconds later, the AI side has already verified the answer. This isn't a story about humans losing to machines. It's about what happens when we stop trying to out-process a system built for processing, and start using it to handle the grind — so our energy goes toward the judgment calls only we can make. The real win isn't speed. It's what we get back: fewer burned-out hours, more room to think clearly. #AI #FutureOfWork #Innovation
